Listing standards

How Strategic Peace builds, labels, updates, and removes listings of Texas mediators and Attorney-Mediators.

Strategic Peace is an independent directory of Texas mediators, not a law firm or lawyer referral service, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any mediator credentialing organization, bar association or court. Every listing is free, and paid Featured placement is always labeled Sponsored and never affects who is included.

1. Where listings come from

Listings are compiled only from public sources:

We do not buy data, publish content from paid or commercial directories, or use private sources. We do not publish email addresses on unclaimed listings, and we never publish cell numbers or home addresses. If a site's terms prohibit reuse, we do not use it. We only hold back listings we haven't yet confirmed from a primary public source, and payment never affects that.

2. Profile labels

Every profile shows a source label, one of these:

Strategic Peace does not rate, rank, certify, or recommend mediators. A label tells you where information came from. It is not an endorsement. The Featured · Sponsored advertising label is separate from these source labels (see section 7). Public-source listings show only basic facts, with no photos or bios.

3. How listings are updated

We recheck public sources from time to time and update the date shown on each profile. When we recheck and find a change, we update or remove that information. Once a mediator claims a profile, the details they add are shown as provided by the mediator.

4. Claiming your profile

Claiming is free at /claim/. We verify identity and mediation practice from your own website, a court-published mediator roster, or public court records before publishing. This confirms the claim and is not a credential endorsement. Once your profile is claimed, you can correct details and add practice areas, format, fee range, and a short bio. Clients contact you directly. We never charge per lead or per referral.

5. Corrections

Anyone can report an error. Email [email protected] with the profile link and the correction. Mediators can also claim the profile and fix it directly. We review reports and fix confirmed errors promptly.

6. Removal requests

Mediators can ask us to remove their listing at any time, at no cost, at /remove/ or by emailing [email protected]. We remove listings promptly and keep them out of future updates. No one has to pay to stay listed or to be removed.

7. How Featured is shown

Featured is optional paid advertising. Every Featured card and profile carries a visible Featured · Sponsored label. Featured is not a ranking, rating, review, or endorsement. Paying for Featured does not affect whether a mediator is included, and not paying never hides or removes anyone. Payment never affects which reviews we publish, how they are moderated, ratings, or their order, and we do not suppress negative reviews (16 CFR 465). See our Review Policy. Other listings are shown alphabetically by last name.
